QUEEN VICTORIA 8

Cutting Suction Dredger

Queen Victoria 8 is a Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) with a dredging capacity of 400 m³/hour and a maximum dredging depth of 15 meters. Built in 1976 by Ellicott Ship Builder, USA, this vessel is powered by a robust set of Caterpillar engines including a 305 HP generator, 2x1,125 HP pump engines, a 1,325 HP cutter engine, a 575 HP winch engine, and an 80 HP crane engine. Measuring 53.45 meters in total length and 13.23 meters in breadth, Queen Victoria VIII operates under the Indonesian flag with its port of registry in Jakarta.


The vessel has participated in various key dredging projects throughout Indonesia, including:
2019 – Dredging at Pupuk Kalimantan Timur
2017 – Dredging at PLTU Labuan
2015 – Dredging at Teluk Lamong Port
2012 – Dredging at Lampung Port
2011 – Dredging at Bengkulu Port
