BIRU PERKASA II

Biru Perkasa II, a self-propelled hopper barge built in 2009 by Changjiang Chongqing Waterway Bureau (China), operates under the Indonesian flag and is registered in Jakarta. With a length of 82.30 meters and a breadth of 14.00 meters, the vessel has a gross tonnage of 1,770 tons and a hopper capacity of 1,700 m³. Powered by twin 600 HP Cummins engines, it can reach speeds of up to 10 knots when empty and 8 knots when fully loaded.

The vessel has been involved in key dredging projects, including those at Tanjung Perak Port, Cilegon, and PLTU Waai Ambon in 2023. Known for its high efficiency and capacity, Biru Perkasa II plays an essential role in maintaining port depths and supporting maritime infrastructure across Indonesia.
