Queen Alexandra I is a self-propelled hopper barge built in 2006 by Shan Tang Navigation Shipyard, China. Operating under the Indonesian flag and registered in Jakarta, this vessel is specifically engineered for efficient dredging and transport of dredged material in ports, rivers, and coastal waters.

With a gross tonnage of 919 tons, Queen Alexandra I measures 52.90 meters in length and 12.50 meters in breadth, with a draft of 2.00 meters and a depth of 4.50 meters. It is equipped with a 1,000 m³ hopper capacity for transporting dredged material and powered by twin 288 kW engines. The vessel can reach speeds of 10 knots when empty and 8 knots when fully loaded, ensuring steady mobility during operations.
